Hallo, Hoi, Bonjour! So nice to have you here :)

Here's a little more about me!

My name is Cindy Aartsma, and I live in the beautiful city of Kampen, Netherlands, with my husband, Matthijs. I'm originally from South Africa. I come from a very small town in the Western Cape called Ladismith, located in the middle of the Little Karoo! But how did I end up in The Netherlands, you ask? I au-paired here in 2021 for a year and then met my now-husband. In February 2023, I moved back, and we got married in April! ♥

After I finished high school I had a very strong desire to travel the world and experience different cultures. I decided to jump out of my comfort zone and make my dreams come true so I went au pairing! First in the USA for one year and then in the Netherlands for another year. While I was on my journey I absolutely loved capturing every moment and my love for photography grew even more. I couldn't stop taking pictures and looking back at them, I'm happy I didn't :) It started out as a hobby and grew into way more!

I have a very deep passion for what I do and I want my photographs to feel like it's telling you a story when you look at them. I think they are incredibly special to look back on, to reminisce about a memory that you otherwise probably would forget..

That's when I realized that being a photographer is my dream job and starting a business out of it is such an amazing opportunity. I want to share my passion with you and I'm extremely excited to create many more stories! :)
